New MS3- who's getting it?

So who's getting the new MS3 when it comes out? Speaking of which, is there a definitive release date?

Also of the people who are getting it what percentage are new MS3 owners? I'd venture to guess a large number would be people who don't already or have already owned an MS3 (re: due to the fact there is not performance increase).

I am really put off by the front end styling, I think they went too far this time. The interior I find interesting, but it's not going to get me in a showroom for a long time anyways. I have a LOT of miles/years left in my current speed 3, so I have no intention of dropping cash anytime in the next 6 years or so.

Im waiting on the Mazdaspeed 6 or CX7(wish).......

The new MS3 looks nice, especially in the gunmetal gray color. Whats funny is everyone hates the looks, just like everyone hated the new STi looks. I think eventually it will grow on everyone. The new MS3 has nice interior features.

The new STI doesn't go around smiling like a retard. It doesn't appear aggressive like a hot hatch should. I'll wait for the next mazdaspeed creation. A Mazdaspeed RX-8 perhaps?

No improvements? I guess that depends...the vehicle as a whole is substantially improved...are they in areas you care about? Probably not, but there are plenty of improvements.

Here is what would definitely get me into a mazda showroom in a huge hurry.

revive the rx7 or come out with an rx9 with following taken into consideration.

Make it acceptable for very tall people to sit comfortably in it
make it at LEAST as powerful as the speed 3 and 6, preferably a minimum of 300-350 wheel HP.
NO silly smile on the front end.
make it get at least reasonable fuel mileage so that it is affordable to drive on a daily basis.

2010 hatchbacks look a lot better in person than in pics, the interior is quite nice...obviously I haven't driven a 2010 speed3 yet...but I could live with one assuming I couldn't find an 09 in 6 or so weeks.

Have you sat in one of the new 3's yet? Nothing feels right. Your feet don't go under the dash so you don't feel like your driving a car. I disagree about the interior.

The only thing I like about that is 1.8L. I don't care for the styling and I hope they don't offer the dual-clutch as a single option.
