New Ms3 owner

Hi I just wanted to introduce myself(Ive been on here for a week now). I am from San Francisco Ca and I just got a 08.5 CWP ms3 and I love it. I had an 07 nissan sentra se-r spec v and had tons of issues with the car so I am really happy to be in the mazda(rockon).

Welcome to the forum...How did that spec v run when you didnt have problems?

It ran alright, the engine was really nice and torquey but the transmission felt clunky. It had good acceleration for around town but nothing to right home about. Its biggest flaw was the chassis that it shares with the rouge(suv) and solid rear suspension. It felt too tall and ungrounded espeacially in hard driving. The cars' sales are doing really poorly so I was able to get it new for $16000 which was the biggest reason I purchased it. I had so many issues with the electronic steering not working I totally gave up on it. The other downside is almost no reputable aftermarket. Injen makes a intake and greddy makes a muffler and thats about it.

The aftermarket is growing fast for the Speed 3. The best mods are sometimes hard to get, on back order. If you plan on modding, read up and order early.

I traded in my 02 Spec V. It too had a ton of problems. Mainly a never ending unfixable oil leak, and some annoying throttle problems. Congrats on the new Speed! I picked my Metro Grey GT up last week and I love it!
