New MS3 owner

Just purchased my 2008 MS3 last week and I love this car. It's a Sunlight Silver GT and I got every option I wanted which is pretty much everything minus nav. I didn't see the point in paying $1700 for it when I can get a Garmin 7200 for half the price. Drove it of the lot for $25,500. I know this site doesn't promote street racing but I already killed an Evo, STI, and SRT4 and was impressed. Sorry but I couldn't help myself, I wanted to see what it could do. Maybe they knew how to drive and maybe not, but all I know is I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Sorry about the bad pics but all I have is my cell. I now have 3 Mazdas and I'll be parting out the Protege soon because I have no need for it. I have to first fix some mechanical problems and get some stock parts for it before I start selling, but it'll be soon. I'm still not accepting dibs or don't have any prices yet, but here's a short list of what's for sale.

I'm a veteran on this site so I know about the rules but thanks for the heads up. Been a member of this board since 2002.

I won't post anything for sale yet until I have everything ready, I'm just giving a heads up. Besides, everyone that's been on as long as me or longer knows what I have and know I have everything stated above. Just click the link in my sig to my cardomain site for proof.

I already have a long list of parts I'm getting but it's all going to have to wait until 2009. My 10 year anniversary is coming in September so I have to gather every cent I have to make that day special for my wife. On top of that, I made a promise to her that I would trade in her 2004 6 for a 2008 CX7 if I could get the MS3, lol. That's where all the money I get from parting out the Protege and selling it is coming from for starters. So I have alot on my plate right now in 2008 so modding the MS3 isn't happening until 2009.

What % tint do you have? It looks like 5% limo tint on the back 2 windows and rear hatch and maybe 15% up front.

20% on the fronts, 5% on the others. On all 3 cars.

I like that combination of tint....I got pulled over (here in Los Angeles) and was forced to remove them.....funny thing was, when I went to the CHP to get it inspected, the cop just looked through the front door to see if the tint was removed and then signed me off.....I could have aske a friend of mine with a speed 3 or even a regular 3 to lend me his car for the sign off and I'd have kept my limo tint.....anyhow, I kinda like not having the tint because it got really dark in there at night when I was making left turns....I'd have to roll my windows down to see...

I may go for the 20% on the front....looks good....

Thanks. I first had 5% on all windows of the Protege and 6 when I used to live in GA and it was very hard to see at night. It took about a couple days to get used to it. It took my wife even longer, lol. To a point to where she was scared to drive at night.

Once I moved to TX the law stated I have to have 35% on the fronts but could pass state inpection with 20%. Needless to say I went with 20% on the fronts once I changed my registrations over. I liked the combination and went with it on the MS3.
