METRO GRAY MICA MS3
Hello everybody! I purchased a new Metro Gray Mica GT MS3 and will be picking it up in a few hours (just got a call itwas coming off the truck). I'm originally from an Evo background. A pic of my old girl is below, she is now sold. I am moving into a new venture to learn about FF cars. That's where I decided on this platform.

I have a ton of knowledge from engine parts, open-ecu tuning via ECUflash and Ingenuity, as well as suspension components so feel free to ask any questions you think I could help with. I hope to have pics posted of the new ride as soon as I get it home. Check back for updates.

Welcome to the club.

We are getting alot of Evo and SRT4 guys into Speed 3's. That should say alot sbout our car.

Scott.

Why are you getting out of the evo?

I built the car to the point it was not practical fo it to be a daily driver and to be honest I dont make enough of money to have the Evo and another car.

Between oil changes every 2K miles, meth, 93 octane and other general maintenenace items, the car was just getting too expensive. I would say my priorities changed as well. :)

BTW, pics will be up soon pending this rollercoaster weather we're having. Hopefully it clears up soon.

Picked up the new whip last night. This car rocks. Much better than I expected.

Next up is Cobb Stage 2 suspension, and new wheels that have NEVER, ever been tucked under the fenders of a MazdaSpeed 3.

Thats a bold statement from an EVO guy. Says alot about the little car. The "sleeper" aspect of the car will draw less unwanted attention, and will also surprise alot of people whom don't know about the Speed 3 already.
Congrats, The car will continue to surprise you.

Scott.

Congratulations!

How about a review comparing your MS3 to your old EVO. I haven't bought one yet but I'd love to know how both cars compare to each other.

In all honesty, I'd be comparing apples to oranges. I built my Evo to be a street driven weekend time-attack car. Suspension as well as engine components were dialed in to work in concert with eachother and yield a result that was amazing. Not to toot my own horn but I was proud with the end result. The car was simply a monster.

As far as my new venture goes...well you guys will have to stay posted to find out how it goes. My goal is to still keep overall balance with engine performance as well as handling.
