[TX Speed Demon]

#3 in the series

Created for Gjmoreo (sorry bout the long wait), basketball and MP3 theme.

This will be the last one I do for a while, the wedding, work and trying to finish up my portfolio so I can get a new job are just taking up too much of my time. Although I don't think anyone else who had sent me pictures was waiting for one, if you do... know I won't be creating a new one until after January.

100% Photoshop 7 with lots of layers and blown out contrast.

Doh, I totally forgot to give you my pictures Oh well. I can wait. Does it matter if my pictures have ugly s*** in the background? Like a minivan shining through the window? Or can you just edit it out? If not, I'll take some new shots and send the high res. Here is what I'm talking about... Low res.

hey tx, would you send me that file so that i could open it up in photoshop and look at all the work you did. i love photoshop, and i'm planning on going to the art institute of savannah next year and i want to learn as much as i can before i go there

Can't send the full size, it's 11x17" at 300 DPI and about 800 Mgs. PM me your contact info and I can send you a very small scaled down version.

However there's not much the layers will tell you. I flattened the bgs into only 3 layers and all the images were brought into a new photshop file, turned to black/white, upped contrast to 100%, then the black parts were copied and pasted into this phtoshop file in layers ontop of the bg section.

I don't "have" to, I didn't lose mine, but I want a diferent one so bad. I'm just so tired of doing work that I don't like and am not proud of at all. It's gotten to the point that each time traffic brings me a new job for most of my accounts I just want to start crying.

I've been in this profession for about 6-7 years and have never hated what I do until now. I'm not excited about work anymore, plus I feel like my skills have sort of flattened out here. Doing the same type of work day after day, all of which requires no skill is starting to make me feel like I have no skills. I've been at this job for about 1.5 years and have gotten about 2 portfolio pieces out of it, which is not good. In my old jobs I was averaging about 1 portfolio piece a month. It's gotten to the point where I don't even want to work on fun or personal projects outside of work either.

My boss knows how I feel and tries to make things better (he wants me to go to NY later this month to present some stuff to Footaction), but one good project every 6 months is just not enough.

Anyway, enough venting.....
