Thought i would introduce myself. As of today i am the new rotary section mod. I have been on these boards for a while after owning a MSP for almost 4 years. I am currently an ASE certified tech, Toyota Expert Tech, and have my auto/managment asso. degree from Wyotech. I am looking forward to increasing the volume of members to this section along with increasing the quality of this section for the existing members.

Now onto the reason i am here in this section. Ever since the years previous to the drifting craze i have always been intrigued by the wankle rotary and have researched everything i could get my hands on as far as the engine and the basics of the RX7 chassis go but without the hands on experience it felt like i was lacking something. Come last may the trans went on my MSP and due to finacial, time, and frustration issues i decided to sell it. About a month ago i learned a co-worker was being forced to sell his RX-7 that he nothing about so i took the chance to pick it up cheap. All in all i ended up picking up a pretty much bone stock 1990 RX-7 Convertible for $1000 that ran and drove. The car is not without its issues and i could probably spend half a page explaining what i have found and fixed thus far. I have some pretty good plans for the car and plan on using it to expand the how to's in this forum.

Feel free to give me suggestions or ask questions i will hope to answer them to the best of my abilities.

And here are the pics of the car. This is how i brought it home. I have since added the new wiper arm, switched to S4 mirrors in flat black, added 1991 Turbo II rims in black, and added a xplod HU with the mounting kit. Next item is going to be fixing the power windows that dont work...but the targa top option makes it all worth it.
