Don't bother with hypertech if you plan on doing any real modding to the car, honestly.

welcome aboard. MS3 is definitely quicker than the non-HR 350z's. I had an 03, but my Z wasn't stock. I rocked the turbonetics single turbo on it, heh.

^I think the hypertech is fine unless like you said you plan on doing heavy modding. From what he listed it will be good. The car will need a tune anyways after an intake install because im sure it will throw off his fuel trims.

I'm just looking to mod lightly and not all out. I heard for ecu tune that access sport is better for cars that's heavily modded. For upgrade tmic which one would you guys recommend?

For a TMIC, CP-e,CorkSport or ETS. The best prices are on the CP-e and the Corksport TMIC's.

Thanks for more info as I'm learning more about my car. Went to the local park and took some new pics I also took off front license plate holder.

nice UPGRADE! now you'll be able to zoom by an old 350Z, except with groceries and a baby seat!
ENJOY!

^^Welcome to the forums! Look into replacing the rubber bushings with metal bushings. This will make shifting much more solid

What is a rmm? I will looking into shifting the rubber bushing with metal one is it hardto install? I might invest in a short shifter later haven't decided yet.

clean and unmolested

What does the rmm help with?

it makes a teeth shattering vibrations....

(nailbyt)

lol...jk. they do have multiple selections (DURO) that you can choose from...so it's really up to you which application you are pairing it with.

have someone rev your engine while you look @ the engine bay. see how violently it tilts/moves? all that torque this engine produce makes it move like your steering wheel when you experience torque steer.

there are a few cases that some speed3 experienced motor mount failure. there is a recall on this as well so you might wanna check on (bolt under your batt tray) that if your's been replaced already prior delivery. and yes, not only RMM...there are 2 more mounts that you can replace if you choose to do so.

RMM took me about an hour. IMO, well worth the time and money. Shifter bushings were a good install too. Pretty easy. I used JBarone for both of those parts. I have a Cobb Accessport and love it. Haven't used a Hypertech before, so I can't speak to that.

Anyway, welcome and enjoy.

Welcome to the forum! Nice looking car. How are you liking it compared to the Z?

My favorite mod so far has been a TWM short shifter and solid shifter bushings. Has made driving the car much more enjoyable. Happy modding.

Welcome to the forum!! And CONGRATS on the new ride too.

From my own experience all aftermarket RMM's will cause some additional vibration, especially when the A/C compressor is on. But they also help eliminate front wheel hop. Go with a lighter Duro rating, 60-70 D's and one w/the largest bushing you can find and it will reduce the amount of vibs in the cabin. I am currently running the James Barone Racing billit aluminum mount, 70 D's and it's not that bad.
Again, depending on the mount you may have to remove the mount link from the transmission to install, especially the bigger mounts like mine. 2 bolts for the mount (17mm) and 3 on the tranny (21mm IIRC.)

Solid shifter bushing are a 15 min install. I did the TWM SS and bushings all in about 1/2 hr. Just pull up the console and its all right there.

Are RMM hard to install? I heard there is bolt underneath the battery?
time to use the search button
there is a ton of info on RMM, which is a must have first mod

the trans mount recall only afected early 07's so is irrelevant to you
you can upgrade, but few do, the rmm controls most of the rocking that affects shifting
