2006 Mazdaspeed6
I just pick this car up a week ago and love it. It's not my first Mazda for me but the other two I have had left me quite disappointed. A little background on the two Mazda's I have owned... One was a 1999 Mazda protege I bought used as my first car in 2002. Great car until it hit 39,000 miles. The O2 sensors went out multiple times until 52,000 miles until the transmission gave up on me. $1,700 later it was fixed and traded in about three months later. Since then I had owned two Ford Ranger's since I used to work for Ford and paid nothing for either one new. In 2005 I bought my g/f a brand new Mazda Tribute and now with 50,000 miles exactly the transmission went out on her Tribute. I don't know what's up with Mazda Automatic transmissions but they need to figure it out.

While trying to reorganize my vehicles I decided to sell my loved 02 Honda S2000 and trade my Ford Ranger in. I went shopping and found the following car:
2006 Mazdaspeed 6 Black cherry mica. Drove like a dream compared to anything else I have driven and so I traded the Ford Ranger in on it. It has 19,XXX miles on it and was a killer deal. Carfax checked out good and had it privately inspected with no issues found.

The only mod I have done to this vehicle is since I own an upholstery shop I ordered in a black leather kit with black perforated inserts and contrast dove grey top stitching with mazdaspeed embroidery. Kit will be here tomorrow and will post pics once my guys install it. On with the pics!

ooooooh. I want! :) love ya car.

Man, I've yet to see this color in person.

Looks like it's a pain to accurately represent in photos. I definitely prefer this body style to the new 6.

Almost every metallic/mica color is tough to photograph. The naked eye sees so much more detail. Much like the black cherry mica, my velocity red mica only shows it's true color in direct sunlight. In darkness or overcast skies it changes to a deep dark color. The flake just loves the sun.
