What's up everyone... New to this site, but I've been on a few other Mazda forums but for some reason I never joined here. Looking forward to some good info and fun reading.

I have an '07 Velocity Red Mica MS6. I bought it in May with 30,700 miles on it. I'm currently at 38,200 miles and so far I've had a blast with it. There's been a few issues along the way like a CEL two weeks after buying it, which turned out to be the EGR valve and tube needing to be cleaned out which was a fun weekend project. I've experienced the smoke cloud after idling since gutting my 2nd cat, but since I've bought an AP and bumped up the idle and replaced the gutted cat with an intact one since the few extra HP wasn't worth the smoke cloud every other morning.

Here's the latest photo I took of the car. I haven't taken many since it's mostly stock. The only performance mods are a COBB SRI, COBB AP, SSP and Denso ITV22s. The previous owner already installed the intake and the vent mounted Prosport boost gauge, so those were nice bonuses. The only other mods in the future are an oil catch can and maybe a turbo inlet pipe. A few weeks ago I replaced the tranny, PTO and rear diff fluids with AMSOIL synthetics.

I had bought some H&Rs and Tokiko Blues planning on dropping the car, but in the end I decided against it. I just don't want to deal with avoiding parking curbs and going into driveways at an angle. Yep, it's offical I'm old! I'm actually OK with the monster truck ride height because at least I can say it's a 4WD. (lol2)

I'm refinishing some RX8 wheels that I bought for $90 off of CL that were painted yellow. They're primed and waiting for paint. Just doing them a dark silver, almost gun metal. Going to mount some 225/45/18 Continental DWSs when the time comes. The photo is of the first one I stripped the paint off of.

Well anyway, enough rambling. Just wanted to say hi and glad to be here.

Welcome!! diggin the red ;) I'm with you on the not dropping the car. I've already had a few close calls on stock height, I wouldn't make it if I were lowered.
