I didn't see an introduction forum, so I figured OT is probably a place to do that. Although I am new here, I am certainly not new to either cars or forums. I'm a moderator over on celicatech.com, which also uses VBulletin. The Toyota Celica is my daily driver as well as the main recipient of both my attention and frustrations. She's a super white 2000 GTS, and has well over 215k miles on her. With her recent transmission swap, she runs like she's brand new as well.
Since I'm such a Celica guy, why am I here? Well, my wife drives an 08 Mazda 3 i Sport. So nothing particularly special. The 3 is going to remain stock as she likes the squishy, comfortable ride and gentle acceleration. The 3 is that pastel blue color, and although she has named it "Nemo", I passionately refer to it as "The flying Easter egg". The one redeeming quality of it (in my eyes anyway) is it is at least a manual! So I am here to read and learn. I am also quite proficient at the search function.
Failing that, if I have any questions that are not resolved by searching, I'll ask them. I'm generally a pretty healthy OT poster too.
