New member and CX-5 owner

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a new member and a new 2014 CX-5 GT AWD owner as of today.

I got a lot of good information on this forum that ultimately help me decide to the CX-5 is an excellent vehicle.

I wasn't in the market for a new vehicle but the low finance rates and better gas mileage was very enticing.

As of today I'm a new member of the forum. Not yet a CX-5 owner(2.2d 150hp SkyActive), but that will happen on 9/25. Hope I've made a good decision.We'll see.

I recently got a CX5 2.2D 175 SPORT NAV AWD AUTO in Soul RED. So far i am liking the drive but still need to get clued up on all the technology. Also loooking through some of the old posts on here to find out the problems and answers. It seems like it may be a good idea to get the spare wheel kit (when they are available) but does anyone know if it fits neatly under the floor with jack etc or is it kept in the boot area? I assume its a space saver tyre.

Yes it fits very neatly under floor with the jack and tools, jack and tools fit into new foam plastic things, and yes it is a space saver.
