New Mazdaspeed Offering

How much are hard-pipe kits?? Yeah, would you have paid an extra $300 some odd dollars for the car if it had pipes from the factory?

How many factory turbo'd cars actually come with hard chrage pipes? Not very many that I have seen.

Yes, I would have paid 300.00$ in a heartbeat. Saves me the hassle of doing it later. Of course this means they would have had to use a decent intercooler as well :D
Bitter? Who me?
I love my Speed but it's just frustrating to see Mazda nickle and dime a car to death.

OMG, Mazda made a better car than the MSP!!1
I suppose you were around when the MSP came out to say ,"OMG Mazda made a better car than the MP3!!1.":D
I don't care for the 4 lug wheels on the Miata all though I like the car.

ummm explain exactly how that car is better than ours? Post flash I'd bet my lunch money we get better numbers

PS: You also have to realise no matter what kinda s*** you do to a car the fact remains you're still driving a miata.

For that much cash you can spend a little bit more and just get MS Rx8 or buy a real car like an Rx7 :)

Even if it can handle a bit more boost, i wouldn't call it a 'turbo' motor, this usually implies the motor has been specifically built for turbo applications. It looks as the the only thing 'beefed' is the shot-peened gearbox, woo...

omg ppl, chill it was a joke to all the ppl who think the MSP is the best car evAR.

The miata motor has rock solid internals. I know a guy up here at a performance shop that has a miata that he is pushing 300 whp turbo all on stock internals. That miata motor is the most rock solid I have ever seen.

For those of you that like history, the BP engine was used in Mazda's all-wheel drive World Rally car, the 323 GTX, a couple of decades ago. There were also road going versions the 323 GT as well. The BP was basically designed to be turbocharged. I think Madza was getting >400 hp out of it.

As far as best bottom end goes look at the 85+ Mustang SVO and 87-88 thunderbird turbo coupes. Forged internals from the factory and with a T3 turbo i've seen stock motors run 26psi on daily drivers. My new T3/T4 turbo will see 20+psi on the stock bottome end with nothing but a better head gasket and fuel system...FWIW the stock t-bird fuel system is capable of 300+ hp with stock turbo and stock 35#/hr injectors.

not to take anything away from the miata.

damn, I dont think you want me going back and noting every OT post along the way do you? He was talking about bottom ends and said the miata was the strongest. i just pointed out there was one stronger. Now guess what...the previous 2 posts are OT so you've taken a light-hearted conversation and derailed it fully. Was that your intent?

because

a) wrong forum
b) repost

*edit*- thank you for whoever moved this
