i just bought the white 2003 protege 5 last night and loving it...so much fun to drive even when its stock

I havent seen you on AIM lately so I havent been in touch. Plus with the 2004 show season coming soon Ive been a bit busy. I just helped out DG Motorsports with their new carbon fiber front grill and it looks like ill be sending them my AutoEXE wing next. The MintBlue body kit that you saw pics of has now been completely installed since I finally managed to get my hands on a real (stock) JDM rear bumper. My next project is some forced induction -- ive been working on a sponsorship for that and it will be a few more weeks before I hear back on it.

Hit me up on AIM -- sn RUDEF2 -- if u wanna chat and ill help ya out with locating some of the parts you are after. but im sure with your hookups you can help me out as well

Welcome and nice civic. I was thinking about trading my 99 civic coupe for a hatch but they are rather hard to find and in good shape. Out of curiosity what made you buy the protege when you already have the civic. With us it was having three kids and a dog. Kinda hard to set the civic up for race and show when you have to drag kids around. The mp5 is an excellent car, enjoy.

im doing so much to my civic now that it can not be daily driven. the civic is going through a total makeover. the reason for the mp5 is becuz i originaly wanted the mazda 3 but couldnt afford it

The tails in my sig are JDM. Also you can get an autoexe grill for the top grill in the front. There's alot of decent replicas of the grill floating around. If you want the real thing just say and I'll post the link. Also there is a autoexe lip for the front bumper. And of course badging. The most extreme JDM thing IMO would be the mintblue kit like Gurly has.

Like I said a couple of company's in the US make replicas of this stuff.(eg. www.dgmotorsports.com) But if you want the real thing, which is better because it's urethane and not fiberglass, you need to contact a company in Japan.(eg. www.takakaira.co.jp) This is where I got my grill and it was a hassle free transaction. Any other questions let me know. Also as I said before www.corksport.com has some good stuff.

That looks like either a Canadian model 5 or a US one that someone cracked and painted the inside of the lights on. Also those look like mintblue eyelids. The Canadian ones come stock with black headlights. That's another thing that is JDM, the black headlights. There's a really good how-to on here of how to crack open the US lights and paint the insides. I used it and my car looked good. Is so easy.

*edit* And now that I look at the mAZdasports logo I know it's US cause mAZdasports is Arizona.
