New Mazda MX-5 Concepts - Fiat will copy it!

I just read that Mazda and Fiat are making a deal.

Mazda gets to produce cars in the U.S. through Chrysler plants so they can be more competative with price and get more profit.
Fiat gets to copy the Mazda MX-5 to make their new upcoming Alfa Romeo Spyder.

mazda will develop the chassis. fiat gains access to the platform for the next generation spider. body work and engines will be different. neither of those concepts are from mazda, and have been created by "journalists" with generous heapings of artistic license.

Both the next generation MX-5 (ND) and the Alfa Spider will be manufactured in Japan. That was specifically stated in the press release by Mazda.
