New Mazda CX-5 owner - my Mazda app not working

Hi everyone and I am pleased to be a new member of the mazda247 forum and being a new 2023 Mazda CX-5 premium plus owner.

I have installed the my Mazda app on my Android phone and have initiated the first steps to register the app but everytime I get to the step where I enter my cell number it then says it will send a text message with a code to continue with the registration of the account..
But the text never arrives. Even tried on wife's iphone and same problem. Have tried numerous times.
Only thing common between her phone and mine is were both on TMobile..

Anyone ever run into something like this?
Would really like to use the remote start feature 🥶🥶🥶
