Are all these options beeing offered in the USDM model? Cause i know the canadian and the usa models differe slightly. I am considering trading in my protege5 for the new mazda3 but im still unsure. Has anyone here ever driven both? Which is better? I know the new mazda 3 has the new beefy 2.3L mazda 6 4 cyl. I am also wondering about the mazdaspeed mazda3 since the new mazdaspeed mazda6 is comming out and it will have the 2.3L 4 cyl with turbo putting out about 270 HP and AWD so the mazda3 version can have as much power as the mazda6.....but thats my two cents, i dont think mazda would do that....but thanks for the help guys
There's a brochure on the 1st page of this thread. It's a US-spec brochure, so all the things that are mentioned in the text will be on the US-spec Mazda3 SP23.

There are also pictures in that brochure - those pictures are prototypes (some even right-hand steering but flipped horizontally) and therefore not of US-spec vehicles - so while the pictures give you a general sense of the new interior and exterior color, some of the small details in those pics are incorrect.

USDM mazda3

When is the special edition comming out to the USA? Does anybody know? I am considering trading in my protege5 for the mazda 3 and well ill wait for the special edition. Also anybody know about pricing? I think the new 2.3" engine should haul in the mazda 3 and its what i like about the car, that and the GPS option

The SP23 with brown interior will begin reaching US dealerships around late January (black interior one month later). As for the pricing of this SP23 version, it's in the brochure on the first post of this thread.

It's a package - and so this SP23 package has a price. In addition, there are additional packages that can be had on top of the SP23. All these are on the PDF at the beginning of this page.

Oh, the rain sensing wipers can be turned off, so it's Manual. You can't fit 15inch rims due to brakes(you need 16inch). I wish I had something that could read that PDF properly...god-damned out of date paper wieght. grrr. Just thought I'd chime in on what I could...and heated seats would be nice..even for the Cloth it'd be nice. And LED's, always look awesome.

I raced a SP20 down Bobbin Head Road in My Clio Sport and im afraid to say he ate sh*t around the corner (i was flogging him anywayz) and ended up in a ditch. I think the Lack of Traction Control and Stability Control are badly missed in the SP20 and Sp23. This yellow SP20 was lowered aswell.. My Car isnt.... My Clio handles better in the wet than you guys do in the dry. Doesnt that annoy u? Besides from all that its a second and a bit faster 0-100 and only needs 2.0l to do it.

And your on this board cause...?

My dealership has a few ordered, and one sold already. I'll make sure stop by and take a look as soon as they come in, probably sometime later this month.

I'm down for the badges and taillights as soon as they're available. I'd also love the bose audio. I've got a friend who works for Bose and any manager of a bOse store can purchase a vehicle with a bose stereo at a special price (susually cost) through some weird deal worked out by Bose a long time ago.

This guy has an infinity suv with bose system and he got it for $7K under MSRP with no haggling.

The audio is awesome.

I am heading to my dealership right now to pick up a part, I will ask abotu part #s for the LED tails.

i wonder when they'll be available for individual sale for someone like me who'd want to pick some up OTC.
