New Kumho tires for my wife's Cx-7

I am awaiting the arrival and installation of new tires for my wife's AWD Cx-7.

With winter approaching, I wanted the stock Goodyear RSA's replaced with another tire.

I have selected the Kumho Road Venture APT KL51 as the replacement tire for her car. I have had Kumho tires placed on all of my family's SUV's (4) and my step-daughters Grand AM GT.

I have always gotten great all weather performance from these tires and ride quality has been very good. They wear extremely well and have excellent rain traction.

Dollar for dollar, there is no better tire out there for the money!

I will render a review of them on her Cx-7 whenever I have a chance to get them installed and ops tested.

This tire has been hard to get of late- I purchased them a few weeks ago and both Tire Rack and Kumho USA have been back ordered.

I agree, but I definately can tell the difference between kuhmo and more expensive quality tires.

I run Ecsta ASXs on my mazda5... just put on my second set. For 205/50-17 it's about the only good choice out there without dropping $150/ tire. (and that's tirerack.com prices)

Dozing4dollars - My CX-7 is @ local Mazda dealer getting 4 X Kumho Road VENTURE APT 235/60R18s. I looked at GY ResponseEdge, but backordered. Fair reviews on Kumho, and I'll report back in after a number of miles.

How have they been on your CX so far?

Prior to getting my tires I was looking at getting Kumho but after seeing what happened to my friends civic si sedan I changed my mind he had bad blowout.

and the guy at vespia tires tells some of these tires constantly make the car vibrate at high speeds.
