New Interior Pics! check it out leave some comments please!

yea im gonna.. im just gonna go and get some black or dark blue or somethin to go over it. oo well an experiment gone bad i guess.. it does look better in person tho so idk?

both Clownphish and Devilspawn painted their interiors.. I'd never paint mine but to each his own.. I'm sure not many other people would paint their calipers orange like I did either..
maybe clean up the interior and take some better pics...

Have you posted pictures of said caliper painting? link me. I bet orange looks awesome. I think on laser blue, midnight blue, titanium, black, orange, sunlight silver, white, and maybe yellow it would look pretty cool. :D maybe if I get bored of my silver front black rear calipers I'll go for an orange... after all, it is my favourite color.

Black would look too bland, I would go with a Silver.

Here is what all black looks like

And with some silver life

The silver creates the right contrast, I would only sugest other colors (Yellow, red, blue, ect) if you have a Car the same color.

Silver will pretty much go with any color, but especially Black, Silver, & Titanium, cars.

you have pm. :)

alright.. yea i dont like howt hat black looks.. maybe ill go with the yellow or somethin seein that the seats and shifter pad have yellow in it... or im thinkin ill go with blue.. blue i just love that color. my underground lights are blue.... but maybe i should go with silver.. i just didnt like the silver color that was on there thats all.

The paint is going to chip away over time. I've never seen an interior painted like that hold up for very long. The paint won't hold well to any vinyl/clothed surface especially. I would go ahead and Buy DG's fiberglass kit and get it painted by a body shop to whatever color you want. Whoever posted that link link to DGM has it right IMO

I think the reason it looked the way it did, is that it wasn't prepared enough.

From the Pictures the piece above teh glovebox looked like it had bumps (made it look worse, especially with color-shift, cause you could see every one)

I recommend getting some bondo and making your interior pieces smooth like glass (sand + sand + sand + Paint + sand + sand + Paint + sand + sand + Clearcoat = good, no matter what the color)

yea that sounsd like a good idea... im gonna see how this comes out after i finish this time... i just did the peice by the radio and ac and heat controls and stuff.. so once its dries and stuff im gonna see how that looks... then ill go and do the other peices. if this dont turn out as good as i want it to.. im gon take it to a professional and just take these peices out and have em done!
im thinkin this time is goi nto be better tho! im hopin anyway

Been documenting the transformation of my interior from faded ass grey to black and silver. replaced the carpet, new seats, deadener, and all that crap. I'm not done but I am pleased with the results.

I took all the texture out of the dash pieces. primed. sanded the whole nine. I painted and it seems to be holding up. I used Krylon fusion on the textured pieces I don't give a s*** about or see when you get in the car. It will chip. It has in some spots already but another coat is nothin when you can take the piece out but the dash is worth spending some time on cause it's a complete b**** to redo.

But black is very forgiving as far as switching paints for different parts.

anyway the protege story on my sig will show you my approach and some of the results.
