new intake maybe

is it really dryer ducting
i thought that stuff was all like ruffly or something and that one looks kind of smooth
yeah but i guess it does kind of look like a dryer hose
and where would you put that thingy
idk what its called, that little black box usually between the hoses and that sensor thing

OMG noo! Mystery filter + hardware duct = BAD INTAKE!!! Why?? Don't do it! 50 bucks!!!???!!! You still have to attach your MAF to that! I guess you just use a pen to poke a hole for your temp sensor??? Nooo oo
ooo
ooo!!

BTW I do like the umm background of the listing......I looked and it doesn't say anything about not being included.(breakn)

I hope this is a joke!

if you really want a new intake, through down the dough for the AEM short ram intake.

that's my 2 cents.

I already have the ebay one

but could i kind of use this concept and extend the short ram into that hole where you would make a cai go?
I remember reading how some guy have the ebay intake and got some intercooler piping to extend it there
so i was wondering if i could get this aluminum dryer duct thing from home depot and use that to extend my filter into that hole?

You COULD do that...and have the thing flailing around everywhere in the fender (or the engine bay for that matter). It has no support like every other intake out there - cheap or brand name - you would essentially have a flappy penis flopping around in your engine bay/fender possibly getting caught in something and breaking it. I'm sure it's stronger then what I'm making it sound as, but seriously this DOES look like dryer hosing a POS filter at the end. It's probably better then the stock intake we have but I doub it's better then your SRI. To put it in perspective, my cone filter I bought to replace the one that came with my eBay one cost me ~90USD...this thing goes for 20USD.
