Got the hood from Ebay? Maybe I'll change my whole philosophy on buying car parts on Ebay for one of these.

ebay has good stuff if you look for the right companies. obviously don't look for the generic "20 hp for your protege!!" links... but if you run searches for main companies you will find great deals.

PS... i got mine off ebay too.

buy my left handed guitar on ebay! search raven left handed guitar

...god bless shameless advertising

but yeah I was lookin at those damn pretty hoods on ebay also

Is it a VIS hood on ebay? Also, when it rains or when you decide to wash your car, will water just pour on through your engine bay, or is there a way to divert the water flow so that it doesn't get all in your engine bay?

The VIS CF hood is $450 shipped, and $510 shipped for the EVO hood. I like the Evo, but I'd like to know what happens when water gets into the vents.

well, it comes with a tray to keep water out. just 6 screws to take lose. but i have had serval cars with hood scoops, and water was never a mechanical problem,if that is what u are getting at?

I'm not really too worried about mechanical problems, its just that I don't want it to leave water spots on the CAI and hardpipes.
