New here. I picked up my '07 Sunlight Silver Metallic MS3 over the weekend.

Car had 5,353 miles on it when I picked it up at the dealer. Got the car for 18.8k + tax.

So far i'm happy with it coming from a torqueless Civic! Although the top end feels kinda dead, i'm pretty happy with the midrange. I'll post some pictures later.. but it's the same stuff you've seen over and over

congrats man! you definitely picked a great color. something to keep in mind is that peak horsepower is at 5700 rpm. anything past that, the power starts dropping off pretty quick. i usually shift at about 6k but i have a few mods that offset the power drop a little.

^ what he said, don't bother going to redline like you were doing with your honda. this motor makes it's tq down low, and peak hp not too far from that

^ what he said, they always show you good ways to spend your money.
Welcome and congrats on the purchase!

I'm from MN.. I'll be looking to purchase some winter tires soon here. What does those that have to deal with winter recommend? Buy the stock 17's from the 3, and just get snow tires for those?

upgrade fer sure. you could go with a 16 or 17 mazda wheel and some snow tires. you could get some wheels that would double up as track wheels and snow wheels.

I just bought some 235/40 F1 AS tires last fall for the stock wheels that I use in winter and summer..THey work great in snow and on dry pavment,Im very happy with them. But if you have the money some 17" steel wheels with some snow tires is the best way to go.
