Hi all,

I picked up a 1994 323 a few weeks ago, unintentionally (!!?). It was intended to be a temporary get-to-work fix while my nissan was getting swapped, and as a winter beater, but I really like this car it is peppy and flies of the line.

I'm gonna search some more but I am having trouble figuring out how to get the rear seatbelts to 'lock' so I can install my kids' seats back there. Also, one of the belts seems to be 'seized', it doesn't unroll. I don't have the owner's manual, I bought the Haynes but it just has the same generic crapola entry as my Nissan one regarding seatbelts ;)

I also notice a little hesitation at idle, I'm thinking of cap/rotor/wires and some platinum plugs, is OEM the best? On a budget here. What gap to run?

Thanks a bunch. Hope I dont get gripped by the devil and start to clean this car up and mod it up...

welcome to mazda fourms

i would keep it all OEM for the rotor and cap. Plugs and wires i'd get NGK/OEM and nothing else.

I know in my Honda, the seatbelts have a lifetime waranty on them, so if anything just go to the dealer or call them to see. Should be the same for Mazda.
