Yeah the price was definitely right. A guy I work with was gonna scrap it cause it burns oil like crazy. At WOT it leaves a blue cloud. I told him I'll buy anything that runs and drives for $300, which is about what he'd get at the scrap yard. I'll be doing some searching for engines soon. I did a bit on car-part.com already. Found a few nearby with around 100k miles for about a grand. However it showed no interchange. It looks to me though that its the same 3.0 duratech that's in fusions, freestyles, escapes, etc. If it is I'm gonna see if I can find one out of one of those since they are more common. It probably won't be a direct drop in but I'm plenty skilled enough to swap parts from my current engine to the new one to make it work.
And yeah I do like the color. I think you may be slightly biased though haha.
