Hey there...Miata.net is an old school community...Glad you found us and Welcome!

Thanks for sharing your pics...I hope you stick around and bring over some of your Miata.net friends ;)

That's a really clean Miata (or do the cool cats say "MX-5"?) How much have you spent on it including the car?

Yea I've been around on m.net for a couple years now. Great group of guys that really know their stuff. I wouldnt have attempted nor done half of what I did without their help.

I have a couple guys in mind that Im sure would come hang over here. I actually bought the V-bulletin software and registered modifiedmiata.net, but I dont have the comp skills needed to set it up. I've actually had the license now for at least 6 months or so....lol.

Thanks for the kind words on the "roadster". Usually the crowd calls it the Miata or the Mx5. Those that modify to a certain point tend to switch over toward roadster. More of a masculine name, also pretty JDM. (thumb)

All in, including the price of the car. $6k off Ebay w/42k always garaged. 5k for the body repair and bodywork, another...12k or so in parts. I could be wrong Id have to really add it all up though. But I guess you could compare it to a new Miatas price tag.

The attachments are the quick view of development.

Thats a B6 is it not? I got a turboed BP. B series motors are the best.

Indeed it is a b6. The b6t is the motor used in the 88 323 GTX turbo. Which is why the stock Miata b6 motor has the oil hookup and the oil drain already on the block. I guess you can say they are overbuild stock motors. Prob why alot of Miatas get way...wayyy up there in the mileage. (thumb)

Once the spring is here the car will be out again. Right now its all cleaned up, off insurance, and tucked in the garage ready to be opened up again...lol.

But yes in the spring I will be out and about, and will def be heading to most of the local meets. Marcus dairy/Danbury mall, Starbucks, Dennys, etc.(thumb)

Thanks, yea I knew right when I saw that color that it was what I wanted. Different from what youd normally see and I liked that.

The turbo was probably one of the best things I could have done. I would recommend to anyone that owned a Miata to think about it, or at least ride in one...then youll want it. I actually met up with another Miata owner not to far from me months ago. He and his girlfriend followed me and my chic and after the embarrassment....what do you know...he now has a turbo in his Miata. (hah) They are just more of a car with, than without...IMHO. (thumb)
