How's it going ladys and gents.

Just picked up my speed6 last night and oh man i'm in love. I traded in my 2008 Dodge Caliber R/T and I don't regret the decision at all. The caliber was nice with the leather and AWD and what not but the CVT transmission just wasn't cutting it.

I've also been into DSM's for about the last 5 years or so and was tired of having to deal with an older car that I just didn't have the time to take care of anymore.

I have been in the mazda family for the last couple years as I race Spec Miata in SCCA. This is what attracted me to look for a mazda. Originally I was looking for a speed3 but was not able to find one that would fit my budget. Luckily though when I was at the dealer this beauty came in off of a lease. Dealer ran the numbers with my trade ins and everything was good. Except that I had to wait FOUR DAYS in order for them to go over it, longest four days ever.

I am excited to start a new path for tuning and expect it to be a fun one.

I know what you mean i had to wait four days to get my vw jetta gli ( the car before my speed ) drove one on saturday did not like the color found one at a dealer in atlanta, so had to wait saturday, sunday, monday was for paper work and the dealer had to go pick it up and tuesday ( after work ) went and drove it home! Those four days seemed like years. welcome to the forum!

I've been trolling around here since last thursday and have learned a lot already. That anti-pinch "feature" after the battery was disconnected had me freaked out last night.

Congrats, and welcome to the forums. You should be very happy, I'm loving this car more and more all the time. I have only had one chance to play with it in the snow so far, but AWD + TCS Off = fun!

HAHA yea I bet. I used to do that in my DSM. It's nice to see another WWP speed6. It does not seem to be that popular of a color. I love it, especially in the moonlight.
