Hello everyone, my name is Mark. I'll be picking up a 2007 CX-9 on Saturday as a baby hauler. It's red, pretty much fully loaded, and I think we got it for a fair price. Has 121K miles on it, and it runs great. Just some minor cosmetic issue, but nothing I cant handle.

Little history on me. I'm 26, and a huge Ford nut. My wife drives a 2009 Ford Fusion SEL, and I currently own two 2000 Ford SVT Contours. One has a 3L swap from a 05 Mercury Sable, which i'll be selling soon, and the other, which is my baby, is a stock 2.5, full bolt on (headers, cold air intake, pulleys, exhaust, other goodies), fully built suspension, and will be my daily driver until I pick up the CX-9. Then it will be relieved of it's DD use, and will be strictly a show, autocross, and fun weekend car.

Here is the only pic of the CX-9 that I have from the for sale ad. Like I said, we'll be picking it up Saturday. She needs a good cleaning, and my wife wants to do the evil M emblems on it, along with some other small personal touches. Overall, I think it's going to be a fun and good looking vehicle to own and I cant wait to get my hands on it. I cant leave anything stock for more than a week, so I look forward to learning what is available for the CX-9 and look forward to getting to know all of you guys! Much better pics are to come after I get her home and cleaned up!

Also, would anyone be able to tell me the difference between Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring? How do I tell the difference?

I cannot tell you the differences in those trim levels over all MYs, but if you look on mazda.com, and check out the differences, in general, those differences should be similar over the life of the CX-9.

If i remember in 2007 the sport had cloth interior no sunroof and non bose stereo. The touring added the sunroof, leather interior and bose stereo while the grand touring had the fog lights, 20 inch wheels and hid headlights on top of the rest of the stuff the touring has.
