New Grille Trim?

I recently bumped the front of my Mazda Protege5 2003 and the plastic grille broke and damaged a few other things. I seem to have found a cheap replacement (here), but I'm worried that it will not come with the trim on top as someone in (https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)) stated. I'll post a picture of my area damaged in an hour when I'm home, but I was just checking to see if anyone knew anything about this.

the upper grill is one peice plastic just like that but has a snap on peice on the top and the chrome m in the middle. just try to save those from your existing one or fish out of a junkyard. alternately you could get a DGM style grill from ebay. fit isn't perfect but its a popular look.

ouch! yeah you'll be needing both the grille and the 'grille moulding' that goes on top. the site you found sells it separately. oh and you'll also need the chrome 'M' like Valk said.

Or you could try to find a Mint Blue grill to replace your OEM with? Very nice but at this point very rare and only available used.

meh. the autoexe style looks better than that, but its an option. most of the aftermarket grills will look tacky unless you do some work yourself on them. he has added a nicer mesh to his though. most are tackey perforated aluminum plate, but that one doesnt look too bad.

id just go to a junkyard and rip one out of a car if it was me. i try to find a dgm/autoexe and modify the grill to fit in it. looks aweful without and insert or some kind.

I'm partial to the Canadian grill I scored recently..............used only rare stuff too tho.

OP, I do have an extra oem P5 grill but the top strip is painted sunlight silver. if interested PM for pics/info.

That looks bad. Have you tried looking for grilles in carid or the online store of Park Mazda OEM Parts.
