New Fun-Run

So Im thinking of making a new fun-run route. The one up in bucks county isnt bad but doesnt seem to have the bang-for-the-buck that I'd like. Area that Im looking at would be in the Brandywyne/Chaddsford. Pa/De border area. I havent ironed out the details of the route but Im just throwing the idea out there. I was thinkin out doing this mid to late september, would give time to decide and when decidedd time for people to plan. Let me know if your interesed

Well I have a route, its more of an up and back. Till I can really figure out a "loopish" type route. Trying to keep Stop lights and stop signs to a minimun is gonna be the problem.

I'm heading to the Shore early on sat( as long as my fiance get up). where do you usually run around at? I'm always up for a drive

Basic area is from Concord Mall in the Delaware to West Chester University. And everywhere in between. If you find yourself down Route 1, you will cross 202, and maybe 5 to 10 minutes later. You will see a WaWa on your left, Looks kinda "western"ish its a stop light. Street name is call Creek Road. Turn right at the light. a link of a map of the area. That would be the extremely fun part of the Fun Run. My suggestion go down there, with full tank of Gas and Get lost. So many fun roads back there

I know the area you're talking about, Chester County and Norhtern Delaware were my sales territory for 2yrs. Wouldn't hurt to take a lap around Uof Del either. Always some nice sights there, and 896N through New London has some nice open stretches and great back roads that will tke you back to RT 1

sat or sun, down through brandywine,west chester. minimal stop signs and stop lights. will try to get directions by the weekend. starting point would be concord mall in delaware.

as of now 37.7 miles long about an 90 minutes long. 15 traffic stops. which dont really through the flow off of the run. it could get longer as try to incorparate more twistys into it. and i would say that 80 percent of this run your steering wheel will be turning.

Concord mall is about 10 minutes into Delaware. I chose that as a startin point beacuse 1 its right near the start and 2 if you all wanna do lunch or something afterwards there are about 6 reastaurants in about a half mile radius. TGIfridays, Rubytuesdays, Champs, Applesbees.

So anyway...... Whats the verdict?

just found out that sunday is a no go for me, after 1 on saturday would be good for me. Or possibly next weekend. But it would have to be around 11am or 12pm.

Next Sat is out for me I have a meeting with a new customer, and the only day to impress him will be then. I'm open next sunday also, even though it sounds like there will only be 2 of us there. More road for us

Ok so lets set this for next Sunday say around 11am. Sound Good? Yashart, ur ride ready possibley by then? the earlier in the morning the better, as there may be traffic issues in the late afternoon. Seeing as how it was short notice I fugured there would be problems, trying to set a date. As things are coming up for me this weeekend that I didnt forsee.

If earlier that 11am let me know.
