I heard they wanted to make one, but I need more pics than that to make a good choice. Pipping and no bumper preferably.

I like how they say this:

"Kinetic Motorsport has created a solution to eliminate power loss of the stock Protege Mazdaspeed intercooler due to heat soaking with our own Front Mount Intercooler Kit. Our intercooler kit features a Kinetic Motorsport Intercooler Core (24"Lx6"Hx3.5"W), Stainless Steel Piping and our own line of Silicone Hoses and Stainless Steel Clamps. This kit was featured in the January 2004 edition of Turbo Magazine."

I wonder if Ion's kit has a patent??(uhm)

Kinetic and Ion i believe work together........

It says Kinetic on my silicone bends.

My buddy gets all his silicone and t-bolt clamps form Kinetic out of Surrey, BC.

It would only make sense that they work together.

I have been doing some research, it seems that this Kinetic company is pretty reputable with VW's. Maybe they are a partner with ION or maybe ION is just reselling their kit? dont know but they dont have any of the rest of IONs products listed there, downpipe, exhaust, intake. So I am really confussed (shrug)

Yep my buddy Ben has a 2.0L 8v Turbo golf and he got a buncha stuff from Kinetic. And when he saw my Ion FM with the Kinetic Hoses, He said that I got the good stuff!!!

Well any way. There is the Ion kit for everyone to see! Maybe some of the questions about Ions website have finally been answered!

Not that I care, if Ion has a website or not. I understand their concern about design theft and other such scandals. Patents are hard to get.

They've left the marketing to a very dependable outfit.

well I actually emailed them a while back about there FMIC kit and they claim that their kit is the one in the turbo mag and if you look closely you can see the KK connector hoses in the mag. I think its pretty much the exact same kit and dimensions as IONs so who knows maybe they are in a partnership or something.

either way I sent Jack money for my FMIC today (2thumbs)

want to install it for me MSPDAVE (bow)

so my question is if they are an authorized dealer of ION why is there kit cheaper than Ions. I mean $895 is cheaper than Ions. The only time I have seen Ions kit that low is when they do Group Buys and it went down to $900.

Come spring time and my Garage is "normal", I think it's a possbility. Bring a toofer of Coors Light and you've got a deal.

lol, aight when the damn snow goes away and I get my car out of storage I might take you up on that offer ;)

For sure.... the days are getting longer and it's getting warmer. I miss my car.

For s**** and giggles I'm gonna throw an Intake on my brother in law's LX 2.0 this weekend.

Starting to get the bug already.

Next weekend I'm helping my buddy install his AEM PNP with wideband on his Talon.

Training camp is open!!!
