Install is not hard at all for the axleback. I would recommend buying a new gasket from the dealer (IIRC about $10) as you may not be able to re-use the original one. Also, depending on rusted bolts, you may have to take the car to a shop ie: Meineke to have them cut the bolts. I had to do this and it was also about $10.

The muffler arrived. It came with the gasket and installation instructions! Nice! Can't wait to put it on.

I was a little surprised when I measured it and realized it's a 3" tip. That's borderline rice but it seems to look great on the P5.

It's gonna get louder as time goes by. With a header..LOUDER lol. I switched to a Tanabe because the droning was starting to annoy me.

if i remember correctly, it doesn't get annoyingly loud until about 75mph. it's pretty quiet, then bam...drones like a mofo. would've sold mine if i didn't toss my stock axleback in the dumpster.

well what brand header / midpipe/ mufller or catback would be nice,deep and quiet? Thats what I want. a full quiet exhaust. I hate the rice crap. Im staying n/a so I would like to do

i think i just got the same one for my p5. hopefully it's not super loud because the one i got right now is mad annoying at 60-70...but i do have aftermarket headers. ill post a clip of the sound when i have it on the car

I was putting my stocker in the attic when my wife asked "why even keep that?" I told her you never know. Either I get really annoyed with the new one or someone rearends me and I need the old one.

some body go do an experiment xD put the header wit the mazdaspeed axleback then put a resonator. i'm curious of how much it would tone the sound down. my friend put a resonator wit his mazdaspeed axleback and his racing mazda header and now he likes it.

Ok I've had the exhaust installed for a week and now I freaking love it! One problem though. It hangs a little too far to the right. I have it hanging as far on the edge of the right hanger as possible and it's sticking out a bit past the left hanger. It keeps wanting to settle and move back to the right after driving.

Any suggestions? Should I invest in new hangers or did I possibly mount it on the hangers wrong?

Also what kind of polish do you use to clean this thing?
