New electrical problem with CX-9

:
2012 CX-9 Touring
So I still have a window not closing properly when I use auto close problem but now I picked up a new electrical problem. Seems that my auto tailgate close button or tailgate is not working properly. I hit the button at either tail gate or in interior to close tail gate, it closes but not all the way. Almost like the latch won't catch. I either have to try to close it several times or close by hand otherwise the open door light stays on and beeps when put in gear.

I've never owned a Mazda before so is this typical Mazda quality? If this keeps happens moving forward it's going to be short lived relationship!

LIFTGATE RESET:
Fully close the power liftgate before
disconnecting the vehicle battery. If the
battery is disconnected with the liftgate
open, it cannot be opened or closed
automatically after the battery is
reconnected.
l To restore the power liftgate functions,
perform the following:
1 Park on level ground.
2 Fully close the liftgate manually.
3 Unlock the liftgate and all the doors.
4 Press the power liftgate switch or the
power liftgate button on the keyless entry
system transmitter to fully open the
liftgate.
5 Press the power liftgate switch or the
power liftgate button on the keyless entry
system transmitter again to fully close
the liftgate.

POWER WINDOW RESET PROCEDURE
If the battery was disconnected during vehicle
maintenance, or for other reasons such as a
switch continues to be operated after the
window is fully open/close, the power windows
will not fully open and close automatically.
Resetting of the automatic function can be
performed using the driver's master control
switch or the front passenger door switch.
The power window auto function reset
procedure can be done on one or both door
switches. The power window auto function will
only resume on the side that has been reset.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Make sure that the power window lock
switch located on the driver's door is not
depressed.
3. Press the switch and fully open the power
window.
4. Pull up the switch to fully close the power
window and continue holding the switch for
about 2 seconds after the window fully
closes.
5. Repeat Steps 3-4 for each front power
window.
6. Make sure that the power windows operate
correctly using the door switches.

Thanks for the information I do appreciate that but since the car has less than 6K I will let the dealer spend the time doing this.

Dealer recently reset the window but I'm still having the issue now and then. Would you believe that the tail gate issue has seemed to go away? It's been working as it should now for a few weeks so I guess all the bad mouthing I did to the car paid off (2thumbs)
