What brand are they?
I have been trying to decide which drilled/slotted rotors to go with?
What pads did you go with?

its a company called L2 brakes, they're direct OEM replace, the pads are simple ceramic.

I had those on my CL Type S and they drove me crazy. Feels like a cheese grater every time you put the brakes on.

How is the pedal feel Snooky?

feels great, im stopping a lot sooner, took a while to get used to, but i love it

looks awsome, your wheel lock lugs look exactly the same design as mine, do they have a different design for everyone or do they reuse designs?

Looks good. Be cautious of small cracks forming where the drilled holes are. I had KVR CD fronts on my Protege and I actually preferred the slotted only ones. I'm looking into StopTech when I need new brakes on the MS6.

Hopefully they hold up for ya though.

Changing only your rotors is not going to stop you any sooner. Different pad compounds stop you sooner. Slotted/drilled rotors on a street car are mostly for looks. But hey, if you like em....

i agree they were for looks at first, but then i changed the pads to ceramic...

thanks though~

Wouldn't they prevent brake fade by disapating heat better (I always thought that was their sole reason for existence, actually)? So, they would maintain the same stopping distance longer under heavy use than the stock setup, right? Just wondering.

Thats what the slotting/drilling is designed to do. Problem with aftermarket cross-drilled rotors is that the edges of the holes are prone to cracks over time, since they're not cast like that from the factory. OEM drilled rotors are generally cast, reducing the weak spot around the edge of the drill hole.

Slotted rotors are designed to to the same, but just having a vented rotor will allow airflow to cool the pad surfaces under braking.

Replacing the rotors and putting a grippier (?) pad on will improve stopping distance. Not to mention a sticker tire (hard to find compared to the Potenzas).
