Got my door sills in courtesy ebay. Quality product for the money, enhances the look of the interior nicely.

Those aren't bad (I have the JDM Axela one myself), but I really don't like the ones that light up. Be careful, especially with the rear ones. Another person who bought those said that one of the rear ones fell off in a parking lot somewhere and is hoping that the eBay seller sells them in singles.

i have the same ones. i like them, but the double sided tape definately is a worry of mine. we'll see how long they last. at least they didn't cost much. :D

A member from my Mazda3 car club bought a set, the light-up ones. He/the eBay add specified blue but the lights looked more like teal.

Yea...I bought a set of the protege5 ones from pr5owner and one of the rear back ones fell off.....he won't sell them in singles either...oh well...

They look great, but the fact that they're just held on with a strip of 3M tape makes me nervous about getting them. Anybody have any ideas on a better adhesive to use w/those so they wouldn't fall off?

How do you place the NEW DOOR SILLS into mazda 3? Do you glue them? Sorry I am not that familiar with the cars... Thanks for your information.

if they are like the protege5 ones, which they look like they are, they just held by tape and fit right over the stock door sills. these do not replace the stock door sills, just cover them.

The eBay door sills are taped right over the existing door sills. The JDM Axela ones that I bought are in place of the existing sills (removal of the existing door sills is necessary).

Do you have any pictures of these?
Sounds like something I might be interested in!

maybe I'm not seeing this correctly, but this picture looks just like any other door sills. They are taped/stuck on top of the existing plastic door sills?

I thought you meant yours were a replacement for the existing door sills and not stick on's?

They are replacements, you get the entire "threshold". Of course, you only get two in the kit, there's nothing available for the rear doors.

I also got the dual-tone sills, and what I did is add another strip of double faced tape bought from a craft store, to the middle of the sill, and so far after 3 days there is no sign of them loosening up. Now lets see what happens during the winter :)
