Hi all I have recently purchased a 2010 sport tech diesel which had the dreaded knackered engine due to oil starvation. It has just had an engine rebuild but on return to me seemed gutless and lacking power, I cannot compare it to previous running as I bought it as a non runner!!
It had a full rebuild as well as new Mazda turbo, the garage who rebuilt the engine say the dpf filter maybe useless as conducted a regen in there Worksop whilst they were testing it after refit?? They said it was 75% blocked before regen, I drove for about 200 miles then solid dpf light came on again ( done a 20 mile run with revs above 2000 rpm and light went back out , another regen???)
I've currently run some Wynns dpf cleaner through 40 worth of fuel and only returned 170 miles?? Is this sort of mileage average for this motor???
Any help on this motor would be appreciated as I'm a newbie to the cx7.
