hello all, just purchased a 2008 BRILLIANT BLACK CX-9 sport with 2200k miles for $21900 at 7.49 APR...good deal?

i wanted the GT but this deal seemed to good and i can always upgrade a few options to make it a bit more comfortable. definitely getting the OEM parts online as opposed to getting them from the stealer, i mean dealer.

just incase anyone needs it, since i couldnt find it anywhere and the stealer had to order me one.

Not bad - the dealer we bought ours from had a leftover new 2007 Sport that they were asking $23k for. The only thing that would upset me with your deal is the APR is a bit high - the 2006 Miata I just bought is financed at 6.5% via CapitalOne.

Agreed. Very good price, but they are making up some with the extra 2% over what we pay. Still not a bad deal though.

That's why you always get financing before you go to the dealer. Then it gives them more incentive to beat your previous deal, and if they don't, then you already know what you're getting.

Congrats on the new wheels. A few percentage points on the APR isn't going to kill you over the term of the purchase. If you left the dealership without feeling like you took it in the seat then you got a good deal :)

Amen to that!

And welcome to the CX9 Sport Owners Club, cx9_black. Not too many of us out there, it seems.

Wow, when I bought mine a month or so ago my APR was 3.99%, but it was through my credit union. Sounds like a good purchase price though.

I got 3.99 from my credit union during the auto show here a couple months back. It was a special rate just for the autoshow.

Wow, how great that you posted the link to the owner's manual, cx_9 black ...
I was just looking around on this board to see if anyone had a link for the 2009 Sport, so I could preview it before my impending purchase.
All I had to do was change 2008 to 2009 in your link and voila!! (cabpatch)

Thanks, pal.

Go register as a owner on mazdausa.com. (under myMazda)
You can download owner's manual there. Free.
I maintain my service record there as well. Once you do major service with Mazda dealer, the Mazda actually update your record (service) together with what you enter.
I also get notice about recalls on the page as well.

Finally, welcome aboard.

Yo, yo, yo!
I am now an official member of this club, we few, we happy few, we band of brothers. lol
Just got my new dark blue baby on Friday, y'all.
2009 Sport, only options: Sirius, heated/power front seats + heated mirror pkg.
wheel locks + 3 extra free months of Sirius thrown in.
about $25,050 and $28,000 out the door.
Lovin' the black cloth seats and the leather(like?) touches on door and console.
Also lovin' the Bluetooth, which was very easy to hook up (address book, not so much) and which I didn't think I even cared if the car had it or not -- until I used it a couple of times. Saweeeet!
Surprisingly easy to park for a vehicle of its size. The rear end doesn't stick out nearly as much as I somehow had expected it to.
The "Smart Start" guide (or whatever they call it) is genius!
Not crazy about the radio controls/displays, and a few other things, but won't get much into that until I've settled into it pretty good and gotten used to dealing with the newness of it all.
