new CX-5 gear box cover

not sure if anyone noticed that the Late 2014 model CX-5 has a much better looking of the gear box cover?
I am wondering if there is a way we could replace our existing loose black plastic cover to the new one?
will it fit?
anyone?

I have mine delivered Saturday, it has the straight shifter, because of the button(whatever you call it), it feel worse to shift in manual mode.
the look is definitely better, but the chrome is on the small side.
