You do know that you can't trick that unit with wiring right?
Also keep in mind that you can not have a NAV disc and a CD in at the same time as the unit only has one drive for everything. Alot of people overlook that.

yea theres a sticker on the bottom of the display, you peel it off. There are 2 pins called the R197's, either drop a drop of solder to connect the 2 or use 1 of those Circuit writing pens to make them joined. It unlocks the entire unit. Nav and DVD's while driving.

The only new HU's that I like are the Double Din ones, and they are too pricey for me. I love my P6000 HU, the organic colors look great at night and it doesn't have the fugly moving display that the next model had. I have my MP3 player hooked up to the AUX input right now and may be hooking up XM when it warms up here. The only bad thing is the display gets washed out in direct sunlight, but I do more driving at night so it works for me

man yalls pioneers look outdated. Mines this now Pioneer Premier 760, also comes with steering wheel remote and Soon to be an AVIC-N2. So i might be selling this one.

Personally I really think that moving display is ugly. I'd rather have my 2000 P6000 HU without that distracting display. I do like the blue illumination for the buttons though.
