So I'm debating getting rid of my charger r/t for something a bit more practical. I've been looking at the MS6's for a while now but wanted to get people's feedback on common problems I should look for. Also what is the gas mileage that people are expereinceing. I drive 30 miles oneway to work 90% of it being highway so thats very important to me. I currently have a 97 escort as a daily but am thinking of going to just one car now.

Most people here get like 26 to 27mpg on highway. You're gunna love the car

It will pain me to get rid of the charger. I'm still not sure if I will do it or not. I love the sound of my hemi with full exhaust. Just don't think the ms6 will ever be able to reproduce that feeling, but 27 mpg highway would be really nice. Any common problems that I should be aware of though?
Chargers are nice, one of my friends has one. And they do sound pretty nice with the hemi, but let me tell you... MS6 + AWD pull = wonderful

I do highway driving 3-4 times a week with school, I don't drive aggresively and get pretty decent gas mileage. I think I read somewhere that a turbocharger can help you save gas if you drive the car properly because it uses more air compared to a non-turboed car. Just what I read, I could be wrong.

for sure i've had v8's, and i love the rumble in the exhaust, but there gas HOGS, 2.3L on boost doesn't get any better. pretty decent gas mileage, great power and awesome AWD. DOOO ITT!!!!!

just for starters i would highly advise an aftermarket driver side motor mount to help out with the ugly 1st to 2nd gear shift kick that it gives.

i would say main thing to look for when going to buy is if any TSB's have been done on the car, when they were done and what was done.. is the turbo smoking, were there any reports of it smoking at any time.. and overall quality of the vehicle,was it beat on, how good did the last owner take care of it, any scratches, dings, dents, and also check if they have the new PCV system out yet when u go look for one, its coming out soon.. im sure someone can add to this list of what too look for.
Here's my thing, I don't want to give up the charger because I think its one of the best looking modern cars in black. Much more aggressive looking then the ms6. However, the main reason I'm attracted to the ms6 is the awd and luxury side of it. I've read up a little on the smoking turbo. Also does anyone have a high mileage ms6. I'm curious as to how reliable this car would be mileage wise. I can easily put on 12,000 miles a year just going to and from work. I'm not looking to modify this car that much. An intake and that would probably be it. I have my 72 charger for performance that I'm starting to really get in to.
