New BOV or BPV?

for performance the bpv is a clear best choice. If you want it to make noise, either get a 50/50 valve, a new bvp, or a bov you can run in recirculation (may need fittings, triming the hose, etc). If you have an aftermarket intake, it will increase the sound of any of these.

good luck

unfortunately there aren't such great quality sound clips, but youtube is likely your best bet. i personally like the HKS paired with the Cobb SRI

i've said it 6 times and I'll say it again. and lestat13 will probably agree. Greddy Type-S is the way to go. Even recirculated its pretty dang loud!

I had the turbo xs 50/50 and thought it was good, when I got my HKS i fell in love. I ran it recirc and vented and obvious the sound of it vented was what i loved. I didnt really notice any stumbling issues either. Im selling the HKS now so if your interested pm me. I have to get another pic of it and put it in the for sale section. Its on the other forum if your interested in taking a look.

hey your sig says you have the greddy type s, is that correct??? lestat13 and I both have the type s and love it. Any clips of yours?

My bad guys, I had the greddy type s vented on my MSP. I just never changed my sig after I totalled it. I did love that valve and the sound was great!

A BOV has nothing to offer over a BPV, unless all you care about it sound. Even so, the stock BPV is loud enough for most with the SRI (as you know). My Forge is even louder than the stock BPV.

Function > Fashion!

Come on, there are times when you just want as many heads as possible to whip around and go "****! Who has a turbo??"

I only ran it vta that one night and realized how poorly it idled and shifted. I was in denial. After that website you sent me I decided not to mess with my settings, it's slighty tighter than the loosest I could run with zero issues. It's plenty loud. When the vac is under 10 or I start build a few psi it kind of sounds like the HKS SSQ now. Get to about 5 psi and you get the trademark whistles. This was def a good choice
