New Blow off valve.

I just got a forge motorspot BOV and i installed it all, but when i went to drive it the turkey was still there? worse then the stock BPV. what might be the problem?

do you have a dedicated line to bov? from brake booster? also are u running of the hose that comes with it or is it flanged?

no im not using the hose that came with it, didnt think i needed it, also im not using a dedicated line. could that be why?

Is it a long flutter instead of the short turkey "chirp"?

If it is you may have the vac lines hooked up incorrectly.

well i could try and make a dedicated line, i do have the msp one, so i thought u just throw it in the stock bpv`s place

yea, had the same prob with my boostsciences rdv, wasnt actually opening the valve, so looooong fluttering..not good lol. run the dedicated line. just cut the break booster to the left of the little lump. throw a T in and hook it up to the bov. you may still get slight flutter as the size of the stock nipple is a tad too small to move all the air you need.

Ok i just hooked it up to my break booster line. it didnt work, i still get a long turkey noise. i have no idea what to do.

Is the valve still hooked up to the Injen CAI? It looks like you still have it recirculated, you will still have turkey if it's done that way.

I have the same BOV on my MSP. You might be using too stiff of a spring. Did your kit come with three different size springs? If so, try using a small spring. My BOV came with three different springs, a small, medium, and a large one. If you have three springs, use the middle sized one and you should be ok. I use the middle sized spring and I still get turkey on light or moderate throttle. In full boost, I get a loud chirp then a whoooosh right after it. The small spring won't allow the valve to close all the way, the medium spring is the best option because the larger spring will not allow the valve to open and you will get a lot of turkey and possibly a lot of backfiring between shifts.

all of the springs are the same size in diameter so you would not be able to fit all of them inside.

you need a different spring and you need to use the plug included to plug off the air intake hole that was hooked up in the recirc
