New best time!! And questions

Sup guys, went to the track last night, I'm basically stock except for a injen cai that i just installed a couple days ago. My best run was a 15.3 @ 88, with a 2.3X 60ft. I thought it was pretty good considering there was another msp with intake and he could only run 16's.

I'm thinking about ordering some gauges and then a joe p mbc this week. I should be fine running about 9 psi with just the intake right? Also what kind of times should i expect to see with 9 psi?

with your best time i'd say you'd probably be near 14.9 to 15.1 with 9 psi

How so, I notice a difference with the injen compared to the stock air box, also i love the sound now of the turbo. I can feel the air flowing better.

Well from driving the car i don't see how the airbox is better. Also i haven't seen dyno's where it shows the injen is inferior.

ive tested a stock msp vs a msp with cai. way back when. using the same timer. me driving both cars. did 3 test runs each. same amount of gas, air pressure, etc.
Stock you can run as fast as 14.9 as it has been done. I have yet to see anyone with an Injen even close.

I did 14.3 @ 99 with just short-ram intake and 11psi.

I got you one better...I did a 14.07 @ 101 with just an umm well you know that psi thingie and a well....you know... a cat gone thingie....yeah....stock cat back and airbox was in place.

Next run will have an Injen and hardpipes and possibly playing with the Flashed ECU.I need to borrow one to see how it runs with it and whether I like the results before I flash.Damn I hate paying $3.50 a gal. for Turbo Blue!

i have an injen and a new cat back. I haven't taken it out to the track yet but i am about to add a full turbo back and a fmic. Does anyone know what kind of times to expect. I can't find the times sheet, don't mean to be repetitive. Thanks

u driving 2 dif cars is no real comparison at all due to the fact that we all boost a dif amount stock

u should have tryed it with the same car. but who wants to install and uninstal the intake twice... nice comparison tho ive always felt the stock was faster
