New (and desperate for help)

Hi, my name is Lauren. I have an 05 Mazda 3. I am sorry I am not familiar with the forum yet (therefore I'm not sure where to post this question) but I'm in need of help. I currently have my whole dash ripped out and am determined to fix the lighter before I put everything back. I am attempting to replace my stock cigarette lighter with product # REPU506801. The wiring apparently has been a problem for others than just me. The wiring on the back of the new lighter is just a simple terminal wire. I had to remove the connector from the car wires to try to get it work but now I can't figure out where my wires need to go or what I need to do. Please help! I've been at this for hours and can't figure it out.
