New 5 speed Auto Transmission

Hello-
Is the 5speed auto transmission in the 2008-Mazda5 made in Japan?
Is this transmission a Jatco or mazda?
Is this a new design or the same 5sp they had in the mazda6?

i think whole car is built in "japan" as the Vin starts with "J".

Not sure of "who makes the tranny in japan.. nor is it same in Mazda 6..(thumb)

Should be same as MZ3's 5-speed except possibly different ratio.
