Hey guys. (hi) Just sold my '02 Tacoma to buy a 2005 Mazda3 Hatchback. I'm from Madisonville, tn in case any of y'all are local!

Thanks bud. Its just a 2.3L. I knew I wanted a mazda car because my brother has a 6s. I don't plan on doing any big mods for now, but I'd like to get a set of the led taillights of a speed3(?) and do a HID swap. I'm pretty satisfied with the car as is. I just don't like that my lil brother is faster than me though.
Edit: Is there any cheap/free diy mods thats a must to any 3?

HID(6000k) - $22
Cold air intake(option racing) - $15
Front strut bar - $15
Tint(windows, head and taillights) $200
Cat back exhaust(found(tsudo)... havent done it yet) $200
i wanted to get the LED tail lights but i went with tint on all my lights and windows instead.

this one is expensive but im boosting my car $3000

Nice hatch, welcome! The led tails can be pretty expensive, but the fit is universal on all 1st gen 3s. You might get lucky at your local salvage yard though, who knows! HIDs are inexpensive, try to get the ones that are internally sealed with rubber, they last forever, or atleast a lifetime warranty. I'm on my second set and they've been fine for over a year...
Cold air intake is a pretty cheap mod and coupled with a catback exhaust you'll get a better sound and a little kick to hp. Look around the site for ideas, I'll keep an eye out for you when I'm in E. TN

Thanks man! Yeah I've noticed the OEM's can be pricey. I'm actually gonna try not to do exhaust and CAI because I had it on my taco and coupled together they were LOUD so I'm gonna enjoy the ninja-like quietness of the 3 for now. On your your fogs, are those yellow housings or yellow film like Lamin-x. Yeah def flag me down if you see me I can be found anywhere between Knoxville to Cleveland. Only way I stick out from the other stockers is my Injen plate frame on the back.

Just an overlay, helps with the secondary color on my calipers and hella horns. I went with aftermarket led tails, after pretty much trashing my stockers with niteshades...if I could do it again I would have stopped at smoked film lol

Ok cool Thanks for the info man! Took the 3 up the Dragon today, did okay, but got stopped by a cop :/ 1st time I've ever gotten stopped.
