Never Really Tested the Suspension Until Today

Wow. I really pushed the car to the limit today, and boy I can just say that I think I might do a few more upgrades to the performance, and then head straight into suspension upgrades. My opinion of the P5's suspension did a 180 today. I was leaving work for the day, and everyone always jokes about my car and how much I love it. So I'm leaving to take my friend back to the barracks and go home, and my section chief tells me to burn them off and gives me the twirling hand motion. I was going a little uphill towards a 90 degree turn to the left...I burnt them off, but nothing really major as I cant afford to be eating tires away, but I was at about 25-30mph when I hit the hard left turn (there was NO ONE around so this was safe - to everyone else at least) and powerslided (i guess that is what you would call it, despite being FWD) real hard tires spinning into the lane...i consider myself a damn good driver, but i almost lost control - until it seemed like my mp5 went into Go-Go-Gadget suspension mode and suddenly gripped the pavement as i dropped it into second gear, and tires burning, took off EXACTLY in the right spot in the right lane. It was so sweet my heart was pounding and my platoon sergeant called me 10 sec later on my cell to tell me that was the coolest s*** he'd seen in a while. I know it sounds like i was just taking a corner fast, but this was a bit different...I was so impressed with my suspension/wheels/tires i almost got a hard on.

i think the suspension is better than most cars out thier, but i still feel every single ant i run over like im 4 wheelin.

and Mikeblue-diss sex like its a Hahnduh...
...wut r yoo, married or sumthin!

nice. good handling is addictive. though when you get used to it you want better and better... :D

i am also very impressed with this car's suspension...

i was driving home one night with my good friend ben, and it was around 11:45... the road leading to my neighborhood has a speed limit of 40, so i was going around 45-50 at the time. the turn into my neighborhood is 90 degrees and slightly uphill. we being stupid kids, i decide to push my car and see it work. i double clutched into second around 45 mph a few feet before ripping into the turn. we were both so scared i was going to smash right into the curb (in what seemed like a powerslide), but similarly to your experience, it went into "go-go gadget mode" and those tires gripped like my hands on some nice booty :D

Ha, funny, my buddy was egging me on to test the suspension last night so I did. He said, "Ok, you have to take this turn at 50kph..." And I did. Instead of mass body roll and the feeling of flipping I went into a 4 wheels slide and then it pulled out after a second or two, was pretty damn fun.

From the factory this car comes with a nice set up, but, I need to be lower to be happy!

Hey Nate how are those JIC coilovers? Any 90 degree corners at 50 lately?

I've slowed down on the roads lately. I only go 45 now.
Those coilovers are scary fast. Thanks again for the great deal, Dave.
