Thanks Carzee D! The gf is pretty cool about the car stuff. She's actually interested in some things when I break them down and explain them to her. I'm really lucky. Me jabbering on about cars is like if she came home and yapped about shoes every day, all day. I'd shoot myself! lol. I've taught her well though. One day after work she was like "Oh, I saw a gray GTR on my way home from work today. It was like 2 cars ahead of me. It looks really nice!" I proud of her spotting it like that
. I'm sure it had something to do with me shoving pictures of the GTR in her face a dozen times over the past year (yes).dougefresh_

Haha my dad made me help him change the oil, brakes, and other random maintenance on my first car. My mom made me learn how to drive standard lol. I never thanked them for it then but maaaaaaaaaan is it nice knowing what's going on now. Although I have my blonde moments...

Coool. I've modded other cars before, but I never wrenched anything before the SF + TIP, and then the FMIC on this car. I wish I knew how easy the hpfp was to get at, or I would've done that too! I also live in a condo, and you can't work on your car in the lot. So, I gotta go to a buddy's house etc... Good news is a dude like 3 miles away just picked up an MS6, and he said he'd help me do anything. Really nice guy.... I wish he picked up his MS6 last year!! lol
Not really in a mod sense, but she has her moments. She's been talking about new wheels for her car often.

Yes, as long as all my boost leaks are fixed on Thursday, which they should be. My map is 90% done... all the tweaks, etc.. are already in the map I'm gonna use. I'm just going to calibrate the MAF until I get the FT's within 3, which should only take a couple cracks. It sucks because I had my FT's on my previous map within 2, lol. I'm just gonna run the OTS load/gear targets and see how much boost I'm running. If it's only like 17 PSI, I'll definitely tweak it up a little bit. If I'm feeling up to hitting the Cape on Sat, I'm not gonna try fine tuning the map before then. I'm not going to notice much power difference w/ the fmic at first, because I was already running the +fmic load targets before I got the fmic.
The only thing that is different with the new map is that timing is a bit more advanced from ~4,000rpms up at higher loads, and the OL/WOT fuel target AFRs are slightly leaner. My stock BPV may have been leaking before, but I was holding solid boost. The HKS should be completely leak-free, so I'm hoping to be able to get my WOT afr targets dead on. Our ECU is known to have brain farts post shift, and your afrs sometimes go slightly lean post shift, so I'll have to keep an eye on that when I'm breaking in my maps. I hope I'm feeling better by Sat, and I have time to dial up some more boost and put that fmic to work!!

Cool, and good move on the DH. I can't leave home without mine now. The cool thing was I learned ATR before I got my DH, so when I did get it, I already knew what everything was, and what I wanted to keep an eye on. Plus it has 5 different alerts you can set. User friendly and a good interface.
Haha, don't do that or you might end up with a needle in the side of your neck, and wake up pinned down in plastic wrap!! LOL I posted some pics of my ugly mug on the 6club, in the louge there's a 'member's pics' sticky.
