NEPOC MEET: Westfield, MA - Stanley Park 10/10

Hi guys, I just found out that my friend Matt is coming up to the meet as well. He is not a member of the boards or NEPOC but he has a stock 04 Mazda 3s. If I can find some potato salad I will bring it. See you all tomorrow.

What do you need to know about the AWR? I'm guess a question like..why does it rub?

going to pick up the soda, ice, charcoal and fluid, matches too! anyway, working on a few things on the car today....new rear sway bar links goin in...gettin all my stuff to trade or sell(yippy) nobody wants the stock struts do they? i'm goin to toss them...don't really wanna drag them up...i do have the stock rotors with some life left on them if anyone wants them???(dunno)

Hey Mark, I'd take your stock struts, but I'm pretty sure that they won't work proper on a Protege LX, since the rear suspension is slightly different (different weight).

BTW, I'll be bringing those speakers. I finally found the other crossover this morning, when I was cleaning my apt (long overdue).

Nah, just how to adujust it properly. The directions from AWR suck moose balls.

So tired...took 5 hours to install front springs...3 hours to realize I can't do the rears so went to back to originals...now my car looks like a hot rod. Great. Anyway, see you all tomorrow, hope the meetups/caravans go well and again, my cell is 978-804-4173.

I totaly understand that one. I have been breaking my ass for 4 days now to try and get my kick panels done in time for the meet. As it is now I have to hope that the paint on the right cover plate is dry enough to put in tomarrow morning.

With allo the work I had to rush in there is simply no time for the little adjustments like on the plates paint and the vinayl die. NOt to mention I need to shrink down the left grill some.

A little story: DaViper and I were in the group of cars that left the meet together, but we kept getting separated by red lights and traffic and we lost the group. So in an effort to try and catch up, I had a yellow light and I blew through it, thus forcing DaViper to blow the red light, and using the feature of perfect timing, a policeman saw the whole thing. The cop pulls up beside DaViper, yells at him for a minute, then pulls up beside me and lets me have it for a minute and luckily for us just drives off. Whew...close one! Besides that, really fun meet today.
