If you people take RT 8 North and get off at Exit 42 (towards Litchfield) I could meet you all at the commuter lot to the right hand side of the exit. Just a thought... I'll pm anyone my # thats willing to caravan with me up there...

yay that's an exit up from where I live I can get there in less than 10 minutes

i dont know what exit it is as google maps doesnt show exit numbers, but we will be crossing route 8 on 118, so if thats where the commuter lot is, then that sounds like a plan. the directions from hartford on the kent website are the exact directions we will be using since it is such a nice route.

From the East Hartford area: travel west on I-84, take Exit 39. Continue west along Route 4 to the intersection with Route 118 in Harwinton. Drive west along Route 118 to the intersection with Route 202 in Litchfield. Turn left onto Route 202 and travel west for about 7 miles to the intersection with Route 341. Turn right onto Route 341 and travel to the intersection with Route 7 in Kent, CT. Turn right (north) onto Route 7 and the park will be located approximately 4.5 miles ahead along Route 7.

If anyone in the mass caravan wants to link up with us, all you have to do is follow rt 4 till you see signs for rt8 (at an intersection with a stop light and rt 4 turns right for torrington) just keep going straight towards Litchfield and you'll see it on the left just before rt8. Can't miss it.

Hey if you're coming from Waterbury chances are you'll be heading down RT8 and getting off at Exit 42. Why don't you just meet a few of us at the commuter lot and follow us up?????

ok, i think its the same spot, but just so you know our route doesnt take us ON Route 8 (just over it). We get off in farmington on 4, and cross over 8 on 118 i guess.

i will have to mapquest ti to guess the time, im usually just cruising when i head up to kent so i dont pay attention to the time.

Dude, I feel ya, I don't know any street names, but I know the area. I just looked at mapquest and I think it's 118. Yeah, it's definetly going to be sweet.
