I want to know how can I connect two neon light tubes to the dome light.
Some one suggest me that I can use a Relay. Based on that suggestion I made a circuit of what I want to archive.

The question are:

1.What fuse I need (ampere)?
2.What Relay I need to use? Please let me know the exact I need.
3.What Switch I need to use? Please let me know the exact I need.
4.Do I need to put something else in the circuit?

I attach a picture of the circuit. Thanks for your time and help.

My question is.... why do you want to hook neons up to the dome light.

1. I think 10 amps is big enough.
2. Any 4 pin relay like this one

3. Any on-off-on 3 position switch

4. Fuse is usually in positive side of the battery and the relay is too.

I want the lights to go on when I use the keyless entry. When I unlock the doors the neons will go on as the dome light, this way my car will be light up everytime I open the door.

thats a good idea...I put my neons on a dimmer switch seperatly so that when I lock my car they stay on for 30 seconds then dim to off. And for what eveer reason they blink a few times when i start the car, I think its kinda cool so i never bothered with it, but is it hurting anything by doing that.??

I made the conection throught the fuse pannel under the dash...the dimmer switch I bought for about 3 bucks at the auto parts store.

The way I use to post pic is uploading the image in a website made to do this. This is the website I use to Upload pics. Unce you got into the website click the browse button search for the file you want to upload and click host it. After that, another webpage will appear. In there search for the option #2 an click copy. Then click paste in the reply your are writing. Click preview post before posting it so you can see if its working properly.

I need a relay so I can turn on the neon when the dome light come on. i don't want to connect directly the neon to the dome light because I believe is to much load for the tiny current in the dome light. Therefore, instead of taking chances I try to do things more save by using direct power from the battery to the neons. Also if I want in the future to add more neons I don't need to worry.

you should post something in the how to section. I dont like to give electronic advice because I really dont know that much about it, and i would hate to have someone f--- up their car on my acount.

I did it! It took me 7 hour aprox. but I did it! It work marvelous! Everytime I use my keyless remote I feel a rush of exciment seeing the blue neons come to life! I only put two tubes underneath the dash, but next weekend I will put an extra pair underneath the front seats so the light can shine in the back seat floor as well. In two or three days I will be posting How I did it. Thanks for the help of everyone!!

iMUY BUENO! Do they fade with the dome light? where did you connect the wires? Pic por favor!

No, they don't fade with the dome light..Only shut off when the dome light is completly off.. Allow me a couple of days and I will post everything as detail as I could.. But I can tell you that I hook up a pair of cables to the dome light original cables, then I connect the other end to a relay, because I use direct power from my battery for my neons.. but a better way to understand what I am saying is looking the drawing of the circuit that I made.. But remember that I am going to post the entire process..
