Neon or LED

I recently bought a red neon kit off of ebay for 50 bucks. After inspecting it, i find that 2 are broke. I am waiting to see what can be done monday, but i have been looking at the LED kits. Just wanting to see what everybody else prefers. And i also want to know where under the car the kits have been mounted.

I have a red Eurolite neon under car kit and I find it very nice. It is not very hard to install if you're well equiped but if you are not very used to work on your car and have basic knowledge of the fuses, how to install the neon, where to mount it,etc...you should definately ask a professionnal that will do it for about max 100$
